Ever since I remember, I have always had curiosity and a natural interest in people and personal growth. And perhaps this stemmed from wanting to fit in and be accepted at school. I remember winning a school book prize and wanting to get How To Win Friend’s & Influence People as I thought it was amazing how you can learn practical tips to improve your relationships with people. As I have got older however and through experience I have realised you can’t please and be liked by everyone and one person doesn’t hold the world’s view of you.
My thirst for personal development and my caring nature has meant I light up when I help people flourish and realise their true potential. I first noticed this spark inside of me when I experienced my closest friend suffer with an addiction at school and saw how it impacted her daily life and made her miserable. There was nothing more I wanted to do than to help her but I soon realised she had to want to change and get better for me to help her.
It was this experience and my love of food that led me to study coaching, nutrition and NLP. It was refreshing to hear about Recoverlution and their mission, giving hope and support to so many people that I wanted to be apart of it.
