Recoverlution Platform Update

Significant updates have been made to your platform at Recoverlution for the benefit of all members. So, you might be wondering what these changes are and how they will improve your user experience.

Latest improvements to Recoverlution groups

Firstly, we have separated out ‘groups’ into group chats and meetings. Now you can chat independently outside of a zoom meeting and communicate with other members within the platform.

You can also now create and manage groups, along with one-to-one chats without the need for a subscription. There is no limit on the number of groups you create and you can add as many members as you like. This will give you a private facility similar to WhatsApp or Facebook chat, with the added assurance of complete anonymity if you wish.

Recoverlution Zoom meetings update

Zoom meetings can now be found in the Community Hub. We've simplified the process of attending and creating meetings, allowing you to connect with each other more easily.

You can also now register your interest and attend a meeting without the hassle of having to join a group first. This will make it easier for you to jump on your favourite meetings without having to wait to be accepted to join.

Further meeting improvements have been made so you can manage meeting resources (files, images, videos) within the meeting more easily. Whilst there is a limitation of a substantial 50 files per meeting being uploaded, you can contact us directly if you need more.

What happens to your current group?

If you have a group, with no meetings. Your group will be split. You will have a group chat, with all the members being transferred from your old group. You will not have a meetings page if you had no active meetings. Resources are limited to meetings, so these will not be transferred to your group. Your group will also retain the same name and your subscription will stay the same.

What if I have a meeting within my group?

If you have a group with a meeting. Your group will now be split into a meeting and a group chat, whilst still retaining all of your members. You will have a group chat facility, with all the members from your old group.

Your meeting will be separate from the group chat and will have all the resources from your group transferred. Group members that attend your meeting will now become attendees. The name of your group and your meeting page will still remain the same for your convenience. Your subscription will also stay the same.

If you have more than one meeting within your group, the same principle applies. Your meetings will now be separated from group chats. Your members will now be attendees of the first meeting you set up (not all). Your resources will be found on your first meeting page. The name of your group will be the same name as your old group. The name of your meetings will be the same as your old group, with consecutive numbers at the end of each. Your subscription will stay the same.

There is no message board in the meetings, yet! But we’re working on getting them back as a priority. This means any information you shared, will be lost.
